Moxifloxacin is a drug belongs to Fluoroquinolones class of Antibiotics. How to use
Milflox 0.5%-5 mg eye drops solution (Moxifloxacin) is a medicine meant to be taken in the same manner as per directed by the doctor and follow all the instructions mentioned as below
- Recommended dose is one drop into the affected eye three times a day.
- Wash your hands before administration of eye drops into the affected eye.
- Remove the cap and tilt your head slightly on the lower backward side, press the lower side corner of the nose to avoid draining away of the eye solution after instillation.
- Pull the lower eyelid and gently press the base of the bottle and instill a drop of eye solution into the eyelid.
- Do not touch the opening of the bottle with the eyes.
- Instill the next dose at the same time in case of missed dose.
- Put the second drop of eye solution in case of missing first drop instillation into the eye.
- Wash your hands after instillation of eye drops into the affected eye with soap and water.
- Do not administer the eye drop solution more than the prescribed dose.
- Do not stop using this medicine without the consent of the doctor.
- Store this medicine at a cool and dry place.
